cycle of life

First you get fat, then you find out you’re pregnant. The baby is born, life goes on, you become old and soon need a cane, then a wheelchair. The end.

When horrible accidents happen, you can hire lawyers and get a lot of money!

why a smoking pinecone?

August 10, 2008 - Leave a Response

here’s the explanation I was given: (forgive me if I got some of it wrong, it was a while ago)

firstly, that’s not a pinecone, but a bamboo shoot. Secondly, the word for “bamboo shoot” happens to sound a bit similar to the word for “only”. The sign says “please smoke in designated areas ONLY”.

another smoke-related sign (or better saying anti-smoking sign?)

I wonder if people really care more about their pockets (or gadgets, or their family for that matter) than their possible long-term health…
